The Department of Dermatology at Emory has a rich history of expertise in patient care, education and research. The Department is now seeking general dermatologists to participate in outpatient clinical practice, as well as medical student and resident education and research at our university clinic in Atlanta, GA. Additional practice time at our other clinical sites with unique missions, such as the dermatology clinics at Grady Memorial Hospital and the Atlanta VA Medical Center, are available as well. Faculty will also have resources to cultivate subspecialty clinics and engage in research and publication.
Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologists with an interest in an academic practice are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or a commitment to do so as a faculty member. Our current faculty have a broad array of expertise such as procedural dermatology (including Mohs surgery), dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, hidradenitis suppurativa, blistering disorders, allergic contact dermatitis, pigmented lesions and melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, alopecia, and many others and are committed to a collegial, supportive environment.
