We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Physician Surgeon to join our esteemed medical team at KEM Health OBGYN. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong background in obstetric and gynecologic care, surgical expertise, and a commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services to women.

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care:

    • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to obstetric and gynecologic patients.
    • Conduct routine and specialized examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests.
    • Diagnose and treat various women's health conditions, including gynecological disorders and obstetric complications.
  2. Surgical Procedures:

    • Perform a range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and other gynecologic surgeries.
    • Evaluate patients for surgical candidacy, discuss treatment options, and obtain informed consent.
  3. Prenatal Care:

    • Monitor and manage the health of pregnant women throughout the prenatal period.
    • Conduct routine prenatal examinations and screenings.
    • Address any complications that may arise during pregnancy.
  4. Postpartum Care:

    • Provide postpartum care and support to new mothers.
    • Address postpartum complications and assist with family planning.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and other physicians.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and postoperative care instructions.
  6. Continuing Education:

    • Stay abreast of the latest developments in obstetrics, gynecology, and related surgical techniques.
    • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board Certification:

    • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Licensing:

    • Current and unrestricted medical license in Georgia.
  • Experience:

    • Years of experience as a practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology physician.
  • Skills:

    • Proficient in a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
