Chief, Section of Cardiology

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System invites applications for the position of Chief, Section of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine.   This is an outstanding opportunity for a transformative leader to manage and participate in all aspects of Cardiovascular Medicine at a large tertiary care academic medical facility. Qualified candidates will be board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and demonstrate a record of academic accomplishments commensurate with the academic rank of associate or full professor.  The Cardiology Chief will be responsible for providing outstanding clinical care through state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics via face to face and virtual modalities, advancing the Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency program through excellence in teaching, providing operational oversight of the section, and directing an academic research program aligned with the interests of the Medical Service.  Candidates will be eligible for an academic appointment through the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae via The Federal Government’s Official Job site at www.usajobs.gov
