UK King's Daughters is a 465-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky. We are part of the University of Kentucky healthcare system. We own more than 40 primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a service area of about 750,000 people to our main campus for testing and treatment. This year, we began a $120 million construction project on campus, which includes a brand-new ER and an all new Imaging Department. We have almost all medical specialties, except pediatric subspecialties, at our facility. About three years ago, a separate hospital in our community was shut down, and since that time, our facility has been dealing with tremendous growth in our patient volumes, as most of the physicians from that hospital joined our medical center.
Currently, we have 3 ENTs and we are looking for someone to join their practice and participate in the call schedule. We are looking for a general ENT. We are offering a guaranteed salary of $450,000 plus productivity bonuses based on wRVUs for the first two years, and for the third year, compensation will be based solely on productivity. We also offer a signing bonus and student loan repayment. The physician will also earn excellent benefits, including health, vision, dental and life insurance, long term disability, 401k/403b retirement plans, and a physician-only CAP retirement plan. Additionally, the physician will receive 6 weeks of vacation annually plus one additional week for CME and $5,000 for CME expenses.
