The Gulf Coast VA Medical Center in Mobile, AL, is seeking a full-time, Board Certified, Primary Care/Family Medicine Physician to serve as a member of its Primary Care Team. Once called the Paris of the South, Mobile has long been the culture center of the Gulf Coast. It has a certain magic that keeps you on your toes. You can call this coastal town a lot of things when you have a vibrant 300-year history with stories to tell and long-standing traditions celebrated on a regular basis. Candidates must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and exceptional health of our Veterans. The Gulf Coast VA Medical Center is fully dedicated to providing top-quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.

Highlights of this position include:
• Competitive Starting Salary $220,000-$240,000
• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm OR 8am-4:30pm., with occasional Saturdays
• Manage both scheduled and unscheduled patients in outpatient clinical setting
• Delivers primary care to veterans typically between 18 and 70 years of age
• Supervision of one or more Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners
• Provides clinical oversight
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State

Additional Requirements:
• Board certified
• Two (2) years of Primary Care/Family Medicine experience
