Our adult inpatient teaching service at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, Long Island, is seeking a full-time psychiatrist, who welcomes the challenge and satisfaction of providing education and inpatient psychiatric care to a diverse population in collaboration with a motivated multidisciplinary team of clinicians and educators. The Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychiatry will serve as an Attending Psychiatrist on our 23-bed adult inpatient unit. Responsibilities include direct patient care including diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, and teaching and supervision of medical students and residents. This full-time position may include weekend/holiday coverage for the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit and Consults.   • MD/DO with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry.
  • Eligibility for New York State licensure.
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three years of clinical experience in adult inpatient psychiatry.
  • Teaching experience in Psychiatry.
