As we expand our neurological health services across the Northwell Health System, the Department of Neurology is seeking two dynamic neuro-hospitalist to join our multi-disciplinary team. Opportunities are currently available at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) with no ambulatory clinical responsibilities. The position requires 7 days on and 7 days off. The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past 8 years across all regions, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. SIUH is a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center with a state-of-the-art neuro-critical unit as well as an established adult & epilepsy monitoring unit. Inclusion within the service line offers the opportunity to connect with a large group of neurologists, academic, teaching, world class grand rounds, conferences, and the ability to discuss and share cases with experts in every subspecialty.

The Department of Neurology brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education, and research.
