The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS is seeking a full-time Physician- Rheumatologist, board certified or board eligible, to join our expanding clinical practice. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.

Candidate must possess MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training to board certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State or territory.

Additional requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Training in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound is desirable, but not required.

Highlights of this opportunity:

  • Potential starting base salary range:$300,000-$400,000
  • Daily schedule: To be determined upon selection and to potentially include approximately one week of after hours and one weekend of call per month
  • Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possible 5 days paid for CME)
  • No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting

Jackson, MS, consist of eight colleges and universities, three community colleges, and 11 school districts.
