Nocturnist

The Cardiology Division and Corrigan Minehan Heart Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital are seeking applications from board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine / cardiologists for a faculty position emphasizing clinical care for hospitalized patients. This position is at the level of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. The selected applicant will join a highly functioning, successful inpatient team of nurse practitioners, trainees, and cardiologists at the MGH. Broad expertise in the clinical care of medicine patients is ideal. This role is a 12 hour/shift responding clinician hospitalist role caring for cardiology patients.

Our mission as an inpatient service is to provide comprehensive care to our patients and families, in order to meet their needs, as well as those of our interdisciplinary care providers. The inpatient team ensures the care is high quality and patient centered and collaborates to the highest degree while producing an evidence base to make the health care environment safer, higher quality, and more affordable. The role will encompass roughly 12 shifts/month at our MGH Boston location. The position will protect time for academic pursuits. Women and minority candidates are urged to apply.
