RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Teaching Hospitalist for full-time employment at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Teaching Hospitalists will have a supervisory role with the Internal Medicine resident physicians.
This is a great opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team alongside a strong support staff including advanced practice providers with the goal of providing high-level care.
Ideal candidates will be excited to join a busy practice, with a 7on/7off shift schedule (8AM-8PM) and support a team-based approach to care and clearly communicate with other Hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and all others involved in the patients' care, discharge planning and patient/family communications.
Training in Internal Medicine is preferred for this role, and qualified candidates will demonstrate proficiency in use and operation of all equipment pertinent to position.
