Located in Somerville, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, is a nationally accredited, 361-bed regional hospital providing comprehensive emergency, medical/surgical, behavioral health and rehabilitative services to central New Jersey residents.

As a designated teaching hospital of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, the hospital maintains a family medicine residency program with over 20 residents.

This is a great opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team alongside a strong support staff including advanced practice providers with the goal of providing high-level care.

Ideal candidates will be excited to join a busy practice and support a team-based approach to care and clearly communicate with other Hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and all others involved in the patients' care, discharge planning and patient/family communications. The physician will be opened to opportunities to educate, supervise, and cover residents.

Training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred for this role, and qualified candidates will demonstrate proficiency in use and operation of all equipment pertinent to position.

Candidate requirements:

• NJ licensed or eligible for NJ licensure
• Must be American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine certified/eligible
• Ambitious and looking for growth opportunities
