EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES/PRE-HOSPITAL DIRECTOR

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix, Arizona in conjunction with District Medical Group, is seeking a full-time, experienced, junior academic Emergency Medicine physician to lead our mission as the EMS/Pre-Hospital Director.

Opportunities of this position include:

• Oversight of Emergency Medicine resident, fellow and faculty clinical education.
• Mentoring of trainees and faculty in Emergency Medical Services medicine.
• Oversight of planning and coordination of pre-hospital care with our current EMS partners.
• Development of new pre-hospital/EMS relationships with local EMS organizations.

Candidates should ideally possess Emergency Medicine EMS fellowship training, previous pre-hospital experience and be willing to combine administrative, clinical, and teaching responsibilities. Candidates should anticipate the complete support of the department s faculty and leadership to fulfill the pre-hospital mission.

This physician will join our faculty group at both our academic Level I trauma center, home to an established emergency medicine training program with 44 residents, ultrasound fellowship, and our freestanding emergency department. Academic affiliation includes Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

Candidates should be ABEM/AOBEM board-certified or board-eligible with an Arizona medical license. We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, paid-time-off, malpractice and CME.
