CompHealth is currently assisting an Illinois hospital with their search for a solo pulmonologist. They need assistance because a current physician is retiring. You will work Monday through Friday with a 1:3 call schedule, and additional call is available for added compensation. You will have both outpatient and inpatient duties, and if desired work within the onsite sleep lab. They welcome both board certified and board eligible candidates. CompHealth has a licensing team that can help you with the processing and application of an IL medical license, if necessary.
This hospital-employed opportunity has a competitive compensation package plus wRVU bonuses. You will also be offered medical benefits, life insurance/disability, 4 weeks' vacation, relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, 1 week CME time with stipend, a retirement plan, and malpractice insurance.
This position is located in a wonderful community. The Rock River provides plenty of summertime fun for the boater, skier, paddler, or fisherman. There are five golf courses in the immediate area, one of which is operated by the Sterling Park District. It is just an hour and a half from Chicago.
