Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Busy Hospital in Flushing, NY

A Busy Hospital with 25,000 annual cases is seeking an Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Flushing is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. While in Queens, New York take a look at the multiculturalism throughout the borough. Check out the many greek restaurants and parks in the city!
The schedule is 4 x 10s per week and no call. Clinician needs to do Pediatrics and adults. The EMR is EPIC. Cases include Ortho, neuro, vascular, endo, urology, outpatient, cardio thoracic (separate team both physician and CRNA) ultrasound guided blocks, trauma, pediatrics (less than 10% pediatric cases). Pediatric trained anesthesiologist manage the more complex cases but does all cases. 100% medically directing CRNAs, Physicians do their own cases (75%-80%) and supervise CRNAs (20%-25%). Proof of COVID vaccination or valid exemption is required to obtain medical staff privileges. Both physicians and CRNAs push meds. CRNAs can place epidurals and spinals along with arterial lines
