Job Description:
UMass Memorial Medical Center’s (UMMMC) Structural Heart program is seeking outstanding fellows who have already successfully completed interventional cardiology training for a one-year Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, starting July 2024. UMMMC is a nationally recognized academic medical center, affiliated with the UMass Chan Medical School and fostering one of the largest, integrated multidisciplinary group medical practices on the East Coast.
The one-year UMMMC-sponsored, non-ACGME accredited, fellowship provides an extensive
experience in transcatheter therapeutics including ASD/ PFO closure, transcatheter mitral valve repair, paravalvular leak closure, and left atrial appendage occlusion, with special emphasis on TAVR. Fellows will also have the opportunity to perform as independent interventional cardiologists in an Academic supportive environment and gain experience in complex high-risk indicated patient (CHIP) PCI including intravascular imaging and mechanical hemodynamic support.

- ABIM-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and have completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship by June 2023
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- U.S. citizens or Green Card/H1 visa holders
