Breast Surgeons
The Department of Surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking fellowship-trained breast surgeons to join our distinguished Division of Breast Surgery. These are primarily clinical positions that will provide excellent patient care through compassion, collaboration & service with a sense of urgency. This position has an opportunity to participate in clinical trials & contribute to the Women’s Cancers Program and City of Hope research mission as a clinical partner in the design of clinical trials & translational research studies & innovation in surgical treatment & management of breast cancer. The surgeons will provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a world class, nationally recognized team of surgical, medical, radiation cancer specialists & other health care professionals.
Duarte/San Gabriel Valley (SGV)
- Collaborate with world-class plastic surgeons for combined breast reconstruction procedures.
- Clinical responsibilities to include mostly outpatient breast surgical treatment in an outpatient clinical setting in SGV (Southern California)
Duarte
- Working with multidisciplinary breast oncology teams with access to state-of-the art facilities, as well as world class plastic surgery expertise & complementary services
Qualifications:
- Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center that delivers both clinical & translational research to patients diagnosed with cancer is desirable
- Be well-versed in the state of cancer care & the latest research and innovations
- Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree, be fellowship-trained in breast surgery or surgical oncology with a focused practice on breast surgery, & Board-certified or eligible
- Must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
- Relocation assistance available
- Potential for incentive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement plan
- Salary Range: $300K - $425K. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
