Job Summary:

Join a well established, experienced and compassionate team of providers seeking an additional physician in Waycross, GA.

About Opportunity:

• Strong referral relationships at Jacksonville and Savannah Children s hospitals
• Practice averages 100 PPD
• Call 1:4 ratio
• Memorial Satilla does not admit peds so no inpatient care, does not attend routine cesarean sections or deliveries.
• Level II nursery
• ~400 births/ year
• EMR: eClinicalWorks
• All APP work is collaborative in nature
• Approach to care is conservative

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
• New grads and J1 Visas welcome
• Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Georgia - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
• No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
• Have current, unrestricted DEA registration
• Physician should be quality oriented:
  • Antibiotic stewardship
  • Use of steroids
  • APA guidelines
  • Immunization %
  • % check up s completed

Incentive/Benefits Package:

• Initial employment with a potential to purchase the practice in 2-5 years
• $250,000 salary IG, $5K legal and accounting, $5k marketing, $10K relocation
• All other overhead expenses will be absorbed by the practice
• Occurrence-based malpractice
