The Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital seeks a faculty member in Hospital Medicine and Pediatric Global Health Care Delivery to join our division.
The mission of the BWH Division of Global Health Equity is to improve the health of impoverished and marginalized communities globally through improving equitable health care delivery, educating and training healthcare leaders, and generating new knowledge that can strengthen health care systems.
We are seeking to recruit a faculty member who is trained in internal medicine and pediatrics, who currently clinically practices hospital medicine, and who performs implementation and quality improvement research on global health care delivery, with a priority focus on research on early life exposures that have implications across the lifespan (e.g., child nutrition) and critical lifespan transitions (e.g. adolescence).
An academic rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. The successful candidate will collaborate in ongoing research projects, build their own funded research program, and engage in teaching and mentoring students in the classroom and within the division.
Please send a C.V. and cover letter describing your interest to Lewis Seton at lseton@bwh.harvard.edu.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law. Women and minority candidates are particularly encouraged to apply.
