OBGYN Generalist and Laborist

Full-scope private OB/GYN practice with offices in Queens and Nassau County looking to add a generalist and laborists to their growing practice. They are a well-balanced group with a 50/50 OB/GYN ratio and approximately 1200 deliveries and 750 GYN cases per/yr. The group consists of 11 OBGYN physicians and 16 APPs and they work out of beautiful new, fully equipped offices. They are looking for an OBGYN Laborist to do 3 12hr shifts weekly with a 4^th 12 hr shift every 3^rd weekend.

The Laborists would be coving the group s patients and the L&D and would not be responsible for ED walk-ins. The practice OBGYN physicians would be on backup call and will be there to assist if needed. They prefer a fixed schedule but will also consider more flexible rotating if necessary. It s a salaried position with a very competitive base for a day laborist, and if a candidate is willing to function as a nocturnist, they will offer an additional 65K!

For the generalist, this lifestyle-friendly group offers a call of 1:9 from home. Physicians rotate out of 2 offices which are staffed with 5-6 support staff and admit to a tertiary care facility with level III nurseries and all services in-house including OBGYN residents. There is always backup support and new grads will be mentored as well as have access to tons of GYN exposure.
