Academic Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon

The University of Chicago's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine is actively searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. They particularly welcome applicants who have completed an ACGME-approved fellowship or equivalent in a relevant specialization. The role involves inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within the context of an academic medicine career. Other duties will include teaching, supervising trainees and students, and engaging in scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation, including fringe benefits, will be determined based on qualifications.

Prior to employment, qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Have a medical doctorate or equivalent.
2. Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
3. Be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
4. Have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent.
