Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

The Division of Emergency Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a fellowship-trained PEM physician to join us in July 2024.  The ideal candidate would be excited to join a thriving academic practice group of 67 PEM physicians and become actively involved in the Division's clinical, education, advocacy, and research missions.  This position is intended for a junior faculty member (< 5 years since fellowship); a strong track record of teaching and scholarship would be required for initial appointment as an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.  For PEM physicians with either primary training in emergency medicine or those with a substantial record of EM research, a secondary appointment in the Harvard Medical School Department of Emergency Medicine is possible. The Division has the responsibility for over 125,000 emergency department visits annually including 67,000 patients managed at Boston Children's ED and another 58,000 treated in our community-based affiliate emergency departments.  This position would have time divided between Boston Children's Hospital and one of our community-based emergency departments.  The Division offers an established program for faculty development and has a wide-range of extraordinary career opportunities.
