The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers.  Together with our four medical centers (Kapi’olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers.  Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinate care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Pediatric Cardiologist to join a collaborative, dynamic and expanding group, that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac care for the entire State of Hawai‘i.

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children is the premier pediatric hospital in Hawai‘i, a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center with established services supported by the entire spectrum of pediatric subspecialties. Pediatric cardiologists are an important part of the community physician network as well as the inpatient hospital system, the multidisciplinary clinics, and the many subspecialty services provided by the medical center. The pediatric and congenital cardiology group has been one of the main areas of successful development of the medical center, with continued expansion of cardiac services, recent hire of a congenital heart surgeon, and the opening of a cardiac catheterization laboratory and a congenital heart center in 2022.

Pediatric Cardiology candidates should be sub-board certified or eligible. Responsibilities include a wide range of outpatient clinical care, evaluation of basic cardiac tests, as well as consultation and primary inpatient care for children with heart conditions. In addition to general pediatric cardiology services at the main hospital, the ideal candidate would take on an active role in diversifying and expanding our comprehensive services in the entire State. Besides the clinical responsibilities, participation in research and teaching through the University of Hawai‘i, John A. Burns School of Medicine is highly encouraged.

Competitive salary and full benefits are combined with the advantages of an integrated group practice with the cultural diversity, superb lifestyle, excellent climate and year-round activities of one of the happiest and healthiest places in the country!

Please attach a resume and/or curriculum vitae with a cover letter when you submit an online application.
