Lowcountry ID is in search of a board eligible/board certified fulltime infectious diseases physician. Individual practice will consist of approximately 90% inpatient and 10% outpatient work. Working approximately a 7 on/7 off schedule allowing for 26 weeks of vacation per year. Participation in research, antibiotic stewardship, and infection control is optional. Lowcountry Infectious Diseases is a private single specialty infectious diseases only group practice located in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We currently have 12 providers, MDs, DO, NPs, and PAs. We have outpatient locations in Charleston, Summerville, Mt Pleasant, and Beaufort, and we consult at 8 different hospitals within 4 different systems throughout the Lowcountry. Our practice focuses on general infectious diseases inpatient and outpatient care, inpatient and outpatient research studies, multiple office infusion centers, wound care centers, antibiotic stewardships, and infection control directorships.

We are located in historic Charleston, South Carolina. There are many attractions, including beaches, museums, visual arts, plantations, music, and cultural events year round. Charleston is conveniently located halfway between Washington, DC and Miami, FL. We have about 230 days of sunshine each year with an average temperature of 65 degrees. Charleston is internationally recognized for food and fine dining.
