ACADEMIC PRIMARY CARE JOB OPENINGS

In alignment with the UVA Health System’s prioritization of Primary Care expansion, the Division of General, Geriatric, Palliative, and Hospital Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for multiple faculty positions in well-established outpatient clinics in Charlottesville, VA. Responsibilities will include an outpatient clinical practice that may involve supervision and teaching medical students and residents, and rounding on the general medicine inpatient service two to four weeks per year.

Candidates must have an MD or DO, be board-eligible/board-certified in Internal Medicine, and be committed to providing excellent patient care.

Charlottesville is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is consistently listed among the top cities in national rankings of the most desirable places to live. The city is within easy driving distance of Washington, DC, Virginia’s coastal regions, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
