Hospitalists Needed at Newton-Wellesley Hospital

The Division of Hospital Medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH) is seeking BC/BE Internal Medicine-trained physicians with strong clinical skills to join our hospitalist team. Our diverse and highly qualified physicians serve as attending for all (non-ICU) medical patients at NWH and provide medical consultation to other inpatient services. We supervise housestaff and medical and PA students, and we collaborate with our PAs. Both overnight and daytime/evening positions are available. Hybrid of daytime and overnight is possible as well. We offer a competitive salary, malpractice coverage, and comprehensive benefits package. Full-time or part-time positions are available. 

Position details  

Daytime/evening 

• Full-time daytime hospitalists work 15-16 clinical shifts per month which includes two weekends 
• Primarily block scheduling but not a strict 7 on/7 off 
• Our on-service days average approximately 11 hours 

Overnight 

• Full-time nocturnists work 12 clinical shifts per month 
• Shift lengths vary between 10 and 12 hours (7PM to 5AM or 7PM to 7AM)
