Franciscan Medical Group has an opportunity for a full time Pediatrician to join our team in the Tacoma Metro Area. This position includes clinic work in Lakewood, nursery rounding, and back up nursery call every Thursday and Friday morning based on patient volumes.

Weekend call is approximately every 8 weeks from Friday at 5:00 PM until Sunday at 7:00 PM, with responsibility for rounding on all newborns at St. Joseph Medical Center on Saturday and Sunday mornings. "Back-up" call is about every 8 weeks and includes Saturday morning clinic for newborns and sick visits from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Medical Clinic, then phone call from Sunday night 7Pm until 8 AM Monday morning.

Pediatrician to be able to perform newborn circumcisions.

Requirements include:

  • Medical Degree
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics)
  • Active Washington State Medical License in good standing prior to start date
