Job Details
SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health Department of Radiology is seeking a dynamic IR physician interested to join a collegial group of 10 IR faculty and 6 Advanced Physicians.
The IR group covers 4 hospitals and 2 clinics including St. Louis University Hospital (Level 1 trauma center and transplant center), Community Hospital (PAD, UFE and kyho/vertebroplasty), Children Hospital (400+ cases including VM clinic) and VA hospital. Each physician will be assigned to cover one or two hospitals. We have robust IR clinic 4 days a week and cover every breadth of IR services. We also have 4 Research Nurses and we run clinical trials.
Physician with PAD experience, pediatric IR, Neuro, interest for clinical trials and other unique skill set will be given priority. It is important that the faculty should be committed to teaching residents and medical students. We have ACGME accredited Integrated and Independent IR residents.
We have more than 4000 clinic visits, covering more than 9000 procedures a year. That includes more than 50+ TIPS, 100 + Y90, 200 + ablations, 50 + PE thrombectomy/thrombolysis, PAE, UFE, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, vein ablations, peripheral artery disease, nerve ablations, etc.
