Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity in beautiful Prescott, AZ

Yavapai Cardiac Surgery is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our 2-surgeon team in Prescott, Arizona. Yavapai Cardiac Surgery is the only cardiothoracic surgery program located in central Arizona. At present, there is no general thoracic surgeon for the central and northern parts of the State. Our group has an excellent relationship with the sole hospital system in the area, and we are integral to the leadership of the hospital. It is anticipated that case volume will grow exponentially.

Yavapai Cardiac Surgery is celebrating its 15th year in practice. We are the sole provider for cardiothoracic services in central Arizona.

Our cases are a mix of coronary revascularization and valvar cases. Emergency aortic cases are also cared for. We are integral to the structural heart team, including TAVR. All patients are adult.

No Pediatric congenital.

Projected volume: 225 bypass cases, 100 TAVR, 75 general thoracic cases.

Call will be equally split amongst the members of the group. This included weekends and vacations. We are a very collegial group, and we strive for an environment that fosters camaraderie, mutual respect, and adequate free time to spend with our families and interests.

The world-famous red rocks of Sedona are a short drive away. From Prescott, it is an easy drive to Phoenix (1.5 hours), Las Vegas, (4 hours) or Los Angeles (6 hours).
