Faculty Position
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children’s Hospital invites applications for a fulltime researcher dedicated to discovering the causes and/or novel treatments of affective disorders in children and adolescents. Appointment at Harvard Medical School as an
Assistant or Associate Professor will be commensurate with experience and requires ongoing teaching. Candidates pursuing research in youth with affective disorders involving neurobiological, epidemiologic, genetic, pharmacological and/or psychosocial approaches will join a community of
researchers with similar interests in the Department of Psychiatry and in the Brain, Mind and Behavior Center.
Applicants must possess an MD, MD/PhD and/or PhD (or equivalent) and have at least two years’ postdoctoral experience or the equivalent. The successful candidate will have or be poised to build a successful, independent, extramurally funded research program and have an existing track record of NIH funding.
