Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking outstanding, passionate, and patient-centric Anesthesiologists to roll out our new Anesthesia service line at St. Joseph s Hospital and Medical Center in central Phoenix. We are nationally recognized for quality tertiary care, medical education and research. St. Joe s includes the internationally renowned Barrow Neurological Institute, the Norton Thoracic Institute, the Center for Women s Health, the Dignity Health Cancer Institute, and a Level 1 Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports to the Anesthesia Service Line Dyad (Anesthesia Physician Lead and Operations Lead) as part of Dignity Health Medical Group, AZ.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aptitude for and dedication to medical education and providing evidence-based anesthesia care with high-quality clinical teams that enhance the patient experience and have a committed attitude towards patient safety and quality care
- Clinically active physician who models the practice of evidence-based medicine and exhibits superior patient experience skills and outcomes in all areas of anesthesia practice
- Fosters a collaborative model of practice to promote the growth and success of the Dignity Health Medical Group and St Joseph s Hospital and Medical Center as a whole;
- Collaborates with the Anesthesia Physician Lead to develop and implement educational programs within the department;
- Interest in educating residents, and students;
- Works with the Manager and staff in the development and enhancement of practice guidelines;
- Exemplifies mission-appropriate excellence;
- Perform such other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification/Eligible
- Candidates should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges
- Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about providing quality care to all in need
