Location

This position is located in the NYC area, with travel to clinics throughout the boroughs and Hempstead, NY and will have clinical  oversite of all on-site delivery of services across the United States.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

As the Medical Director you'll report to the Chief Operating Officer and will have the assistance of the Clinical Site Managers and Clinical On-Site Manager. You'll work closely across the organization to make sure that all of our clinical teams are  striving for clinical excellence, using best practices, and are well informed of city, state and federal regulations that impact delivery of service.   • Work closely with leadership to help drive the growth strategy of the organization. Advising on new service offerings and  the expansion of existing services into new industries. Participating in the planning and execution to increase the types of services offered by Mobile Health to its current and prospective clients. Working with facility management to ensure clinical competency and regulatory compliance associated with the provision of services. Reviewing medical records and signing off when a physician’s signature is required by the employer or regulatory body. Working from one of Mobile Health’s six clinics and seeing patients as needed. Overseeing the site managers at each clinic .Advising and providing clinical best practice for services in both Mobile Health’s Brick and Mortar locations and for our on-site services. Review clinical processes and medical records for quality assurance. Actively participating in the recruiting, hiring and training of clinical staff. Participating in company decision making and meetings to provide a clinical perspective. Join in on Performance Improvement initiatives because we're all about continuous growth and improvement. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

If you are an experienced Medical Director with an occupational health background who thrives on managing diverse staff and running a medical practice, we want to hear from you! Check out our list of requirementsbelow:

 

  • MD or DO required. Board certification in Occupational Health preferred. DOT certified preferred, or willingness to become certified. Licensed to practice in NY. Other state licensure is a plus. Civil Surgeon certification preferred. If not currently a Civil Surgeon, willingness to become one. 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Outstanding customer service skills and standards. The ability to look at situations logically and analytically. Excellent communication skills. A team player who recognizes that all of us are better than none of us and has a roll-up-your-sleeves approach. Embrace a spirit of positivity and the desire to win.

SALARY:  $173,000-$215,000 per year
