Lexington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, an employed group within the Lexington Medical Center network of care, is seeking a board certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon to join our orthopaedic program and specialize in adult reconstruction/total joint replacement due to tremendous growth and a retiring partner. Candidate should have completed an adult reconstruction fellowship and have expertise in anterior approach for hip replacements as well as expertise and interest in revisions.

The candidate joins a team of 9 advanced practice providers and 15 orthopaedic physicians, including 5 partners performing total joint replacements. The orthopaedic service line also includes subspecialists in sports medicine, upper extremity, foot and ankle, and trauma.

Completing an average of 1,000 total joint cases annually, Lexington Medical Center s Orthopaedic program has been designated a DNV Certified Orthopaedic Center of Excellence in Hip & Knee Replacement since 2018 as well as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement by Blue Cross Blue Shield since 2019.

Equipped with state-of-the-art imaging facilities and operating rooms, Lexington Medical Center is a 607-bed acute care hospital in West Columbia, South Carolina. With an upcoming robotics program, the orthopaedic suite offers cutting-edge technology, including two Hana tables.

  • Shared call: 1 in 14 office call, 1 in 16 general ortho call with traumatologist and APP support
