Summa Health is seeking an enthusiastic, board certified/board eligible physician for an excellent employed Occupational Medicine position. This is a position with significant growth opportunities, in a very supportive, collegial workplace. The successful candidate will practice at one of our busiest Corporate Health Centers in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Candidates with the following specialties will be considered if they have training and/or experience in Occupational Medicine ER, UC, Ortho, Trauma, Physiatrist, and Primary Care.

There are 6 Summa Corporate Health Centers within the Summa Health System. Summa Corporate Health Centers are linked to a network of free-standing and hospital based emergency departments whose emergency medicine physicians are equipped to provide the right treatment. All of our Summa Corporate Health locations offer access to physical therapy, occupational therapy and rehabilitation services.

Summa Health headquartered in Akron, Ohio is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 5 hospitals and 20 health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the Northeast Ohio region.

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility - Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine
  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification needed but can be obtained after physician is hired
  • Treat/evaluate work related injuries; provide direct patient care to patients and employees including physicals
  • Flexible schedules will be considered: 3 or 4 day work week
  • Unrestricted Ohio licensure
  • The successful candidate will have the following skills: suturing, reading x-rays, familiarity with foreign body removal
  • Oversight of Nurse Practitioners is required
  • FMCSA examiner certification needed, but can be obtained after physician is hired
