Full-time Endocrinologist

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, Louis Stokes Department of Veterans Affairs (LSDVAMC) seeks an outstanding full time Endocrinologist.

THE VANEOHS is a large tertiary care healthcare system providing advanced care to our nation’s Veterans in the Cleveland Metropolitan area and is a primary affiliate of Case Western University School of Medicine.

Qualified candidates will have a full unrestricted license (MD/DO) and will have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Endocrinology.  Board certification is preferred. The position includes both outpatient and inpatient Endocrinology consultation services at LSDVAMC and includes in-person and virtual delivery of care.

Successful applicants will provide care to patients with a broad range of endocrine disorders and must possess specialized clinical training in ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsy, transgender care, and obesity medicine.

Applicants should demonstrate an interest in teaching medical students, residents and fellows and should have demonstrated evidence of prior academic scholarship in the field.  

Qualified candidates will receive an academic appointment through CWRU SOM commensurate with their training and experience. The position is open to US citizens as well as non-US citizens. Non-US citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
