Physician-General Surgeon-Baton Rouge

Ochsner Health System - Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GENERAL SURGEON to join its expanding practice.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POSITION:

• Clinic-based position with dedicated surgery days; operations performed at Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge and Ochsner Medical Complex The Grove, a new medical office complex with surgical and in-patient capabilities
• Two da Vinci Xi robots
• Equally shared call rotation at a single hospital, with dedicated hospitalists on-site 24/7
• Clinic located in Baton Rouge with rotation to suburban clinics
• Ancillary services offered at Ochsner Cancer Center Baton Rouge
• Collegial, multidisciplinary team of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Dieticians, Medical and Radiation Oncologists and nurse navigators collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient
• Integrated practice model with strong, internal referral network
• Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration
• Support available from specialists and sub-specialists throughout Ochsner Health System
• EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System
• Tort reform state

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
