A leading Colorado Health System is actively recruiting a general Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine physician for their brand new, state-of-the-art, free-standing Orthopedic Hospital in beautiful Southern Colorado! This is an attractive Hospital employment position to join an established 5-member Orthopedic Surgery group and enjoy a busy full-time general Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine practice with shared general and Trauma Call 1:5!

The Colorado Health System is an impressive 350 Bed Regional Trauma Center that has been recognized as a Top Hospital in Colorado. The Hospital has recently partnered with UC Health and they draw patients from 14 counties throughout Southern Colorado! The Hospital provides care to a growing 400,000-person service area and they offer two ER facilities that see more than 80,000 ER visits annually.

The main Hospital features 12 OR suites and two Xi Da Vinci Robots, along with a 48 bed closed ICU and Neuro Trauma ICU. The new 29 bed Orthopedic Hospital has 6 OR suites and an Orthopedic MACO for general and elective surgeries. The new Orthopedic and Sports Medicine physician will have the opportunity to work with the University s Division II Athletic Department and serve as a Team Physician for their Football and Athletic programs!
