A reputable county in Iowa is seeking a Chief Medical Examiner to join its team.

The Opportunity:
•  Supervise technical and administrative personnel
•  Oversee medical investigators performing death scene investigations; examine body and surroundings
•  Perform medicolegal autopsies/examinations - conduct death scene investigations to determine cause of death
•  Prepare certificates for cause of death
•  Evaluates microscopic materials, examine evidence, photographs, and medical records
•  Experience working as a medical examiner or forensic pathologist preferred
•  MD or DO - BC/BE in anatomic/forensic pathology required
