Associate Medical Director, Hospital at Home Program - UMass Memorial

UMass Memorial Health seeks Associate Medical Director to join their innovative and growing Hospital at Home (HAH) program. Our HAH program provides high-quality, hospital-level care in the comfort and familiarity of the patient’s home. As the Associate Medical Director HAH you will find:

Based in-person at the HAH Command Center in Worcester, you will contribute to the expansion of the HAH program and further establish the infrastructure necessary to provide optimal care for HAH patients by

• Fostering relationships with the HAH care team and providing virtual acute care to program enrollees.
• Managing the provider call schedule and participating in the on-call backup structure.
• Directing key HAH initiatives including Quality & Safety QI, Readmissions QI, and Clinical Informatics and Technology Adoption.
• Serving as an ambassador of the HAH program and supporting referral growth.
• Advancing UMass regional and national presence and reputation in HAH community.

The successful candidate will have

• Proven physician leadership experience,
• Recent acute care and virtual hospitalist experience,
• Prior experience with hospitalist scheduling practices,
• A flexible and growth mindset,
• BE/BC Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
