The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking four full-time board certified or board eligible OBGYN Laborists to support the NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Under the direction of the Site Chief and Director of Labor and Delivery, the Laborists will:

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, successfully completed a 4-year ACGME accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program and be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. The candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and possess a commitment to excellence and teaching.

- Provide in-house obstetrical physician coverage and provide clinical oversight for the patients on the labor floor.
- Cover and supervise the care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
- Serve as the Attending for Physician Assistants, as well as triaging emergencies.
- Participate in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives.
