Mercyhealth is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join our award-winning fully integrated health care delivery system in Rockford, Illinois!

Mercyhealth is a multi-regional, integrated health system comprising 7 hospitals, more than 750 employed physicians, over 85 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery and much more.

Opportunity:       

• Join an Expanding, Outpatient & Inpatient 100% Infectious Disease Practice!
• Department has 2 Adult   ID Specialists
• 2 ID Nurses and one ID Pharmacist 
• Collaborate with 2 Infection Prevention
• We have an infusion center attached to the hospital 
• ID Clinic is Located at our new Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside, opened January 2019!
• EPIC EMR is Utilized System-Wide
• Willing to Teach in our New Internal Medicine Residency Program 
• Looking for a July start date
