Full Time Orthopedic Surgeon

Three Rivers Health Beacon Health System is a 60 bed, rural hospital located 25 miles south of Kalamazoo/Portage, Michigan and close to the Indiana border. We have 24/7 ER, Internal Med, Family Practice, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Wound Care Clinic, Sleep Clinic, Inpatient and Outpatient Rehab, Pediatrics, ObGYN, and Hospitalists. Our Specialty Clinic, located on the hospital campus, houses a variety of other specialties.

We have just started a search for an Orthopedic Surgeon who is interested in doing Total Joints along with General Orthopedic Surgery. Someone looking to use their subspecialty while also doing General Orthopedics would be an ideal candidate. We are also open to someone that might want to do some Locums, direct with the hospital (not through locums firm) while we search.

The hospital has 2 ORs, 1 procedure room, 24/7 Anesthesia coverage, fully staffed OR, and a dedicated Orthopedic OR block schedule. The Orthopedic office is located within the hospital campus and is fully staffed with an Ortho dedicated Physician Assistant. Call is 1:4 and shared with the ER.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. We also offer full benefits for you and your family., CME and CME time off, relocation, vacation, malpractice, etc.

The City of Three Rivers has much to offer with over 7 lakes, 4 golf courses either in area or short driving distance, private and public schools, churches of all denominations, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing. Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo is only 25 miles away with Kalamazoo College and Community Colleges nearby. The University of Notre Dame is about a 45 minute drive from the hospital.
