Neurology - Neuromuscular Physician - VA Maryland Health Care System
We are currently seeking a Physician that will lead and develop the Neuromuscular section of the Neurology Service at the VA Maryland Healthcare System (VAMHCS). Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for conducting and oversee others conduct of electrophysiologic studies, including EMG and nerve conduction studies.
- Provide clinical consultation to clinical staff both within and outside of Neurology Service.
- Attend on the Neurology consult service.
- Contribute to care of general neurology patients as time allows.
- Faculty appointments with the University of Maryland and research space/protected time are available for well-qualified candidates.
Preferred Experience:
- Ability to provide sub-specialty neuromuscular services as well as see outpatient neurology appointments, conduct electrophysiologic studies, including EMG, provide clinical consultation to clinical staff both within and outside of Neurology Service, conduct electrophysiologic studies, provide clinical consultation to clinical staff both within and outside of Neurology Service.
- Prior research and administrative experience desirable.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
