The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in conjunction with Rutgers Health and RWJBarnabas Health invites applications for a faculty positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the Section of Surgical Pathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology, specializing in Thoracic Pathology. The section is responsible for performance of surgical pathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – the school’s 650 bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The successful candidate will be a members of the Surgical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff, as well as active participants in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students, residents, and clinical fellows, and will be expected to engage in productive research activities. Subspecialty expertise and board certification in cytopathology is desirable, but not required.

An MD, DO, or MBBS is required along with board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP or AP. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and academic experience. Women and diverse candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
