Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist, Community Medical Center

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in conjunction with Rutgers Health and RWJBarnabas Health, invites applications for one (1) faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Community Medical Center. The Department is responsible for the oversight and management of all anatomic and clinical laboratory services at Community Medical Center, a 592 bed facility located in Toms River, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, consulting with members of the medical staff and members of the hospital administration, as well as an active participant in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students and residents, and will have the option to engage in productive research activities. This is a general pathology service, although subspecialty expertise in cytopathology or hematopathology is desirable.

An MD, DO, or MBBS is required along with board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP as well as eligibility to obtain a New Jersey Bioanalytical Laboratory Director’s License.
