1 Nocturnist onsite at night
Primarily responsible for answering floor calls and covering Admissions
must be comfortable with an open ICU and able to manage things like pressors, insulin drip, sedation for vent and etoh withdrawal etc.
Nocturnists must respond to code blues
EMR = EPIC
Average Admissions = 1-3 (7p-7a)
Qualifications
Board Certified - Internal Medicine
Licensed – SC Medical, SC Controlled Substance, and DEA
Must be able to cover specific dates listed
