The National Institutes for Health is looking for exceptional candidates to lead and manage the scientific research programs in the NIH’s Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (ORIP) Division of Construction and Instruments (DCI). The DCI Director assesses the scientific status and future opportunities in shared instrumentation grants and NIH construction awards.

The DCI Director plans, implements, and evaluates highly visible and highly impactful programs that support critical extramural biomedical research infrastructure needs across the Nation; plans, implements, and evaluates programs that allow extramural investigators to test new technologies; and establishes and maintains a close working relationship with the scientific community and the public.
