Hospitalist, Associate Medical Director Beautiful Northern California

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire an Associate Medical Director for the Hospitalist program at SRMC in Roseville.

This position effectively partners with the Medical Director to manage, direct and coordinate all aspects of the Hospitalist program from scheduling oversight, developing protocols, procedures, and workflows, resolving operational and clinical issues, and providing leadership for the program. Specifically, the Associate Medical Director is responsible for the following supervision: oversee the performance of 70+ Hospitalist physicians, perform ongoing mentoring and case review as needed, and advise the program in recruiting evaluation and retention. Attend various meetings to discuss the status and progress of the program.

• Minimum of 2 years as Medical Director preferred.

This position is compensated by salary (clinical) and hourly pay (administrative):  0.24 FTE (38 hrs/mo) administrative, 0.36-76 FTE clinical
