At Lehigh Valley Health Network- you have the opportunity to make an important impact on the lives of your patients! We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ob/gyn physician who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team.
For nearly 100 years, Lehigh Valley Health Network has had independent residency programs, including a six trainee-per-year ob/gyn residency program and a newly established maternal-fetal medicine fellowship. We are a regional clinical campus of the University of South Florida's Morsani College of Medicine and an accredited member of the nation s Council of Teaching Hospitals.
Job Description:
Join a team of ob/gyn hospitalists who work with midwives, general ob/gyn physicians, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists at our largest network maternity hospital. This campus serves as a referral hospital for our 4 other network maternity hospitals and for other regional facilities outside our network. Our hospitalists serve as the primary teaching faculty for the ob/gyn residents and medical students, and they work closely with our maternal fetal medicine physicians for management of high-risk patients. Newborn services include a Level IV NICU and access to our Lehigh Valley Reilly Children s Hospital pediatricians, including medical and surgical specialists. Limited hospital-based gynecology care may also be performed. Opportunities exist for participation in education, clinical research, quality and patient safety, and healthcare administration.
Job Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
- Ideally 3-5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
