Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is seeking applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Division of Orofacial Pain.
This orofacial pain faculty member will participate in the academic, research and service programs of the Division of Orofacial Pain within the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.. This individual will work with other faculty and staff in the Division to strengthen the educational, service and research programs for the Division, consistent with the University’s goals. Job responsibilities include, teaching, providing post-doctoral education, mentoring, providing clinical care, supervising residents’ clinical care, collaboration, administration, scholarship & research, and professional development.

This position requires a dental degree (DMD or DDS) and successful completion of a two year CODA accredited orofacial pain program. The candidate must be either board certified or board eligible in orofacial pain and be eligible for dental licensure in the State of Pennsylvania. An advanced degree, such as a MS degree, is strongly preferred.
