Orthopedic Hand Surgeon

Chippewa Valley Orthopedics seeks an orthopedic-trained hand surgeon to join our private practice consisting of 11 physicians, including one other hand surgeon.

Job responsibilities would include performing hand and upper extremities surgeries and taking orthopedic call at a Level III-IV trauma center 1:8. Opportunities exist to purchase shares in a physician-owned hospital, and additional MRI and x-ray ancillary income would be available.  Outreach responsibilities would include travel 45 minutes to 1 hour away about 1 day per week. The Eau Claire/Altoona/Chippewa area is a beautiful mid-sized, family-friendly area with a population of about 100,000 people. We are located just 75 miles east of the Minnesota/St. Paul metropolitan area. The community abounds with cultural opportunities as well as activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Board eligibility or board certification required.
